Language-Integrated Query (LINQ) is a query syntax in VB.NET and C# to restore data from a different variety of formats and sources. LINQ eliminates the mismatch in the databases and programming languages. It also offers a single query interface for variable sources of data. XML Docs, MS SQL Server, ADO.NET Dataset and web service are some of the data sources from which LINQ can retrieve data.
The objects of LINQ return the results as objects. It enables usage for an object-oriented approach to the result set and transforms numerous formats of results to objects without any worry. The query of LINQ can be executed in various ways.
