What is the four-digit number in which the first digit is 1/3 of the second, the third is the sum of the first and second, and the last is three times the second?

The 4 digit no. is of the form (1000a+100b+10c+d)
so as per the question the no. is
9000x+400x+30x+x (if d=x, then c=3x, b=4x and a=9x)
SO, answer is
9431
